Military Rapid Fire - Old School



In military operations the volume of fire has always been important. These days we accomplish that with semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons, but in the 18th century, when flintlock muskets were the military weapon of choice, it had to be achieved in different ways. The first was by using massed firing formations of infantry. The second was a little piece of technology, the paper cartridge. We’ll look at paper cartridges in this video
