Savage 1907 Pocket Automatic



The Savage Model 1907 gave the Colt .45 ACP 1907 a real run for the decision of the Army's new semi-auto pistol. The Savage came in a strong second, and they forced Browning and Colt to make quite a few design improvements during the trials.

The Savage model 1907 Pocket Automatic was a scaled down version of the .45 ACP trials gun. It proved to be a very reliable, accurate pistol, that was ahead of it's time in many ways.
