This video features an amazing weapon system, previously referred to as "The Shrike". It is a drop-on conversion system for your AR-15 or M16 lower receiver making it capable of belt-feed, while retaining its ability to use your standard box magazines. It is now in an advanced evolution as the FightLite Industries MCR, (Mission Configurable Rifle) and available in numerous configurations. It feeds from standard M27 links and is manufactured to very specific tolerances, with quick change barrels available from 12" to 20". It's an amazing system and we will be examining both the original, and the latest versions very soon. For today, we wanted to introduce it with a light-hearted video discussing something that doesn't come up often when talking about belt-feed machine guns, specifically accuracy.

Are machine guns really useful, or are they just a toy? Can you actually hit anything with one if you wan't or are they just for "Spray and Pray" applications? Are they even any fun? How about those fast-fire devices that allow you to shoot at a much higher rate of fire without all the additional fees and time issues? After spending a few decades living behind a machine gun or 20, I have my own opinion and that's why I decided to shoot this short video and have a discussion about just that.

Do you own a machine gun? How about a fast-fire trigger, or stock system? If the true NFA guns weren't so much money would you buy one or they just not interest you at all? There are all kinds of opinions about them here on the interwebs, and I thought it was time for a little chat on the subject.
