Recently, one of our own was put in a situation where he feared for his life. It turned out to be a benign occurrence, and everything is fine. This is a prime example of why training is imperative. He used skills learned in training to evaluate the situation and remain aware of it development. Likewise, he balanced appropriate readiness with restraint in an effort to mitigate the situation.
Our questions to you: What would mindset training have done to advance his prospects for survival had this situation been a real threat? What should he have done differently?
