Description

Night vision solutions are generally considered too expensive for the average consumer to justify or purchase. We've experimented with some low cost NV solutions in the past, commercial and military surplus with generally poor results. While they technically "work", the amount of functionality previously achievable by these lower cost units still made it hard to justify them even at their price point.

We've received an opportunity to review an Armasight Vega Gen 1+ unit courtesy of OpticsPlanet and were genuinely surprised by the quality and practical functionality that can now be acquired at a sub $200 price point. In this video we review the Armasight Vega and compare it to Gen 1 Russian surplus goggles, a Gen 2 Enosa CETME-LV rifle scope and a geniune mil-spec Gen 3 PVS14.
