The Leader T2 is a rifle designed for Australian military trials by Charles St. George. It largely follows the AR-18 design, but with simplified construction and a triangular bolt head. It was intended to be inexpensive and quick to manufacture, and turns out to be a remarkably good rifle. It handles well, balances well, and has easy to use controls as well as good sights. Definitely a shame that Australian domestic laws and US import laws gave this rifle the double whammy and prevented many from being imported.
The Ballester Molina is an Argentine copy of the 1911, with a few changes made. It uses a pivoting trigger and dispenses with the grip safety (a definite plus, in my mind).
