Some more fun with the borrowed AK-74. A couple of points about this video:
First, you'll be suffering through more missing in this video than normal. I had some difficulty getting zeroed in and seeing where I was missing. In looking at the video, I see that I was not shooting all over the place, but I WAS shooting a bit high generally on most of the misses. Eventually, I get all the targets! :-)
Also, near the end when I'm messing around with bump firing the thing, it didn't occur to me at the time that THAT is obviously the reason for the malfunction or two. Guess it would be similar to limp-wristing a pistol when you don't have a firm grip on the rifle, when it's barely on your shoulder. I just didn't think of it at the time. The military surplus ammo I am firing from one of the "sardine cans" is indeed Russian. In the video, I mention something about that.
The rifle is a Century Arms build based on the popular NoDak Spud receiver.
