A common question I'm getting a lot lately, particularly from new shooters, folks shopping for their first handguns. I don't mean to sell the 9mm over everything else; it's just that so many people new to shooting and buying defensive handguns want to almost "apologize" for considering a 9mm. Throughout the course of a year, I depend on three or four different calibers (.380, 9mm, .40, .45) as "wolf insurance," depending on the time of year, my attire, etc. I never feel poorly armed with any of them.
